Michelle Sanson

Michelle Sanson joined Life by Design®
in 2001. She has a corporate background, working with clients such as
ANZ, Hyundai, and a number of multinational corporations. Her experience
in training makes her a natural for running many of the Life by Design
programs. She has a Bachelor of Business with a Marketing and Management
double major, and a Bachelor of Laws with 1st Class Honours. She has studied
at universities in Sydney, London and the USA, is author of Essential
International Trade Law, and has worked at the United Nations
in Vienna. Michelle has also completed studies for a Certificate in Holistic
Counselling and a Certificate in Life Coaching.
Prior to Life by Design, Michelle was a lawyer with Blake Dawson Waldron
for 3 years (until she did the Life by Design®
course herself and saw the light!). She now has a portfolio career, working
for Life by Design, lecturing law at UTS, doing her PhD and studying for
a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education. In her spare time (!!!) she
is writing a mystery novel. She relishes the work life balance that comes
from having a fair degree of autonomy over her work content, hours, and
location.
on life ...
Michelle loves nature and challenge, which she combines by travelling
to adventurous holiday destinations. She has trekked to Everest Base Camp
in Tibet, cruised down the Nile in Egypt, run with the bulls in Spain,
and meditated on a clouded mountain top in China.

Michelle is also Chair of the NSW Advisory Committee to Homeshare (www.homeshare.org),
an intergenerational initiative that she brought to Australia from the
United Kingdom, which enables older Australians to remain in their homes
if they so choose. Michelle received a Volunteer Award in 2000 from the
Benevolent Society of New South Wales for her efforts.
