AMP - Future Leaders Seminar

AMP identified team members from the Financial Services Third Year Management Program who they saw as being potential leaders of the future.

Ian was invited to present a seminar to these 'Future Leaders' on the key success factors for proactive leadership in the year 2010.

Participants identified changes in the next 10 years in the financial planning industry, and worked to pre-empt these changes by putting in place strategic initiatives now.

Life by Design's exclusive VisionCasting® was used with the management team, both at a personal and organisational level. The group also had fun doing improvisations on scenario planning.

Ian says "The Life by Design® process is essentially business planning for lifestyle. Just as businesses engage in scenario planning, individuals can benefit from considering scenarios for their future, to pre-empt and plan for change rather than merely react to it as it occurs".

Ian also ran a six venue roadshow around Australia on engaging AMP's workforce, titled 'The Engagement Program'.

Rachel Pinnington of AMP says " . my colleague went and said she didn't have praise high enough for how good the session was. The roadshow's created a great buzz round here which is great".
