Godfrey Pembroke Financial Consultants, part of MLC, invited Life by Design's Ian Hutchinson to Western Australia to speak to participants from around the country.
Ian says "Godfrey Pembroke and MLC are starting to recognise that lifestyle planning is one of the core elements of financial planning".
Ian's ran a half day program on 'Creating a Better Lifestyle for You and Your Clients'. The program was designed to give the whole team at Godfrey Pembroke, including their financial planners, an introduction to the Lifestyle-Driven Financial Planner, the rationale of lifestyle planning, and to demonstrate some of the tools in Life by Design's Lifestyle-Driven Financial Planner.
Ian says "Clients don't want financial planning. They want what financial planning can give them, which is lifestyle".
